Heres our broodmares, (SOLD) reference only Our broodmares are selected for conformation, bloodlines, and disposition. They all have size, good bone, with color as a bonus. Our mares and colts run out on hundreds of acres of hilly ,native pasture, producing colts that are strong and healthy. UPDATE,All of our broodmares have been sold(except one retired) We still have 2 Jag In Time offspring for sale, a daughter of Hobbys Songster, and a yearling stud prospect out of Hobbys Halo.
Hobbys Halo 1983 AQHA Black REFERENCE ONLY! Hobby is the matriarch of our herd, consistantly producing outstanding colts. 2 of her offspring, are stallions in Alabama and Nova Scotia, another high selling filly went to Mexico. Hobby Horse, Silver King, Croton Oil breeding. Her sire has produced AQHA champions, superior performance horse, and reserve world champion. She is broke to ride and has a bomb proof disposition that she allways passes on. Hobby had her last foal by Jag In Time in April/2002, a big grey stud colt that is for sale. Miss Salty Kitten 1987 AQHA palomino mare UPDATE SOLD TO TENNESSEE Big and gorgeous,Billys colts have always been big and fancy. 3 of her colts are being used as stallions. She is sired by a AAAT winner, ROM sire, and is foundation bred on the bottom side. WAs ridden on the ranch before becoming a broodmare. Had a super palomino colt in 2001 by Jag In Time. This mare never fails to produce a top quality foal and is a great milker and a super mother. Has been a strong producer of both palomino and buckskin foals. Hobbys Songster 1996 AQHA sorrel/roan mare UPDATE SOLD TO TENNESSEEA really nice mare we raised, daughter of Hobbys Halo(above) and out of our former stallion, Princely Best, who is a AAA winner, and proven sire of excellent using horses and winning barrel horses. Was lightly started,nice mind, good mover. Her 3 siblings that we sold averaged 5000$ as yearlings.Splash had her first filly in 2000 by Jag In Time, sold as a barrel prospect. Her 2001 filly by Jag is just as nice and is for sale. This mare is good to handle, and gorgeous to look at. She is open due to a late foaling date in 2001, ready to be bred early in 2002. Silra Zan Hobby 1999 AQHA roan mare SOLD! Another good Hobbys Halo daughter. She is by a ZAN PARR BAR grandson(also Ed Echols, Blondys Dude breeding). Think of the performance in her pedigree. What impresses us most about Bertha is her size, 15.3 and 1200lbs at 2 years old.Has her dams super quiet mind. You won't go wrong with this mare, size, pedigree and that great roan color,and young. SILRA LIL PRINCESS 2000 AQHA grey/blue roan filly SOLDThis 2 year oldfilly that we raised is a tremendous individual that we kept to add to the broodmare band, but now is offered for sale. She is a really good minded filly, lots of size, (15.3)should mature to 16hh. She is sired by our former AAA stallion, Princely Best and out of Docs Lil Honey Bar, my former ranch mare, a big, strong foundation bred mare.This filly will be an excellent performance prospect and a super broodmare later. She is absolutely gorgeous and very fancy to look.
